Dear Mr. and Mrs. Huang,

I am pleased to inform you that P W has been conditionally accepted to grade 9 for the upcoming school year.  Acceptance to Taipei American School is contingent on meeting one of the above conditions.  School will begin on August 14, 2014.  This is a brief email to inform you of good news. 

 

The conditions for Po-Wei’s acceptance are:

1.     First preference: 

 Po Wei must take an approved English writing course this summer. 

2.     Second preference:  Attend Taipei American School Summer Academy’s Expo Writing course.

 

3.     Third Preference:  a Summer English course offered by an university or college in the USA.

 

I will call you to elaborate on the above conditions in case you have any questions.

 

An official letter of admissions with registration instructions will be sent in mid-March.  Laptop ordering, summer reading list, and orientation schedules will be available after you complete the registration steps for Po Wei. Welcome to Taipei American School!
